All too frequently we hear about abuse of the healthcare reimbursement system. Deliberate fraud is a criminal act, but innocent, inadvertent errors can also lead to fines and sanctions.

This course has been prepared in accordance with the strong recommendation of the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to assure adherence to federal statues and regulations as well as private insurance program requirements. Creation of a Compliance Manual is also recommended.
