The Federal Code of Regulations (Part 1910.1030, Title 29, CFR) requires that all employees (including individuals who may be employees of their own P.A.) who have job-related potential for “exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials” must be trained in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA - an agency of the U.S. Department of Labor) requirements, BEFORE commencing such duties. At risk employees must be re-trained ANNUALLY.
This course provides all required training. Upon course completion and successfully passing a short quiz, a Certificate of Course Completion will be issued. Email reminders of required re-training will be automatically sent to all past registrants as their annual re-training time approaches.
OSHA regulations require that there be an opportunity for course participants to ask questions and receive answers regarding the program; email communication is not acceptable for this purpose. Please click on the “Support” tab for telephone contact information.
